TRENITALIA contract: fire prevention systems for 40 million euro

The PSC Group is building  fire prevention systems on trains in the Trenitalia fleet, for a total value of around € 40 million.

PSC participated in two calls for  tender, winning the contract for the  design, production and installation of fire prevention systems  on:

  • 204 “Minuetto” diesel and electric multiple units
  • 34 ETR “Pendolini” multiple units.

On these rolling stock multiple units, the  detection and shutdown systems  will be activated both in the passenger areas and in the technical compartments, after testing, test runs, commissioning, adjustments and final tests have been carried out.

With these further awards,  PSC strengthens its collaboration with Trenitalia with a total portfolio of over 100 million euro.
