Fincantieri subscribes to the PSC Group’s capital increase
On 4th August 2018, Fincantieri Spa acquired a 10% stake in the share capital of the PSC Group, in order to strengthen the collaboration between the two companies.
The goal is to develop together the industrial activities related to the design and implementation of technological systems in the naval sector. The entry of the new industrial partner will add synergies in order to keep a step ahead in the constant evolution of the technological sector.
Fincantieri , already owned by IRI since its foundation, is a multinational which operates in the shipbuilding sector, with 71.6% controlled by Fintecna SpA, a financial company of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Twenty sites in Europe, the Americas and Asia. About twenty thousand employees, of which 60% works abroad, and a turnover of more than 4 billion euro. The Group, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, is currently one of the largest shipbuilding groups in the world, a leader in the design and construction of cruise ships and the only one capable of building all types of highly
complex vessels at an international level.
